Sustainable breakfast with Lindex

Fantastisk!

Sara Winroth, Sustainability Manager for Lindex

It feels so good when someone in the fashion industry takes sustainability seriously! Lindex and This Is PR invited to a green and healthy breakfast at the cosy restaurant Ett Bord ("One Table") in the shopping street at Vika on Wednesday 1st of March. Sara Winroth, Sustainability Manager for Lindex, told that the they have this main goal: Make 80 percent of their clothes from more sustainable sources by 2020. Already, they have great success with their sustainable denim clothes, Better Denim, and also make a lot of clothes with organic cotton. You can also deliver used clothes to the Lindex stores. These days, they're launching a small and exclusive collection with recycled fabrics (Re:Design) at Lindex.no. They've used technology developed in collaboration with Swedish scientists. Lindex is one of just four worldwide that has an advanced chemical solution that dissolves the cotton from polyester and makes it possible to spin out 'new' fibres. Amazing!
