Time flies with Efva Attling at David-Andersen

 Jewelry designer Efva Attling

Short summary in English:

Efva Attling is an entrepreneur and multiartist you get very inspired by! The Swedish jewelry designer was present at her exclusive shopping event at David-Andersen in Karl Johan, Oslo, on Tuesday 18th of October. She amazed the guests with stories from her exciting life as a photo model (for 12 years), songwriter, singer, TV presenter, fashion editor and clothing designer. It's only 20 years ago when she decided to fulfill her teenage dream about becoming a silversmith. After just six months, Madonna wore Efva Attling. The designer says she wants to convey a thought with her jewelry: To be a good human who respect yourself and others.

— Carpe diem is very important. Her and now is amazing! My favorite expression is
amor fati, Latin for 'love of fate'. You've been given this life, and it's up to you to make the best of it, Efva Attling explains with love.

Efva Attling made this necklace in collaboration with Red Cross to help re-build Khao Lak in Thailand after the big tsunami in 2004. It has raised 9 million NOK (approx 1,1 million USD)! The income also goes to other humanitarian disasters. Efva Attling was in Bangkok when it happened. Several of her friends lost their whole families. — The angel represents all the children who weren't strong enough to cling on and all the parents who lost their children, she says.
