FASHION IN OSLO: Oslo Runway AW 15/16: Business and pleasure

Oslo Runway presenterte en forsmak på ny moteuke med catwalk-visning tirsdag 17. mars på DogA. De tre norske designermerkene Epilogue by Eva Emanuelsen, Johnny Love og Veronica B. Vallenes viste sine høst- og vinterkolleksjoner for 2015/2016 (AW 15/16). Oslo Runway er et nytt konsept utviklet av PR-byrået This Is PR, L'Oréal Paris og Norwegian Fashion Institute (NFI). Den industrielle looken i lokalet får frem detaljene og stramheten i klærne. De tre designerne viste en perfekt krysning av "business and pleasure" - klær som fungerer på jobb, fritid og ferie. Det var herlig å endelig se en skreddersydd herrekolleksjon igjen med både dresser og fritidsklær. Godt lys på catwalken, ingen pressevegg med kjendiser og nysgjerrige, interesserte tilskuere er med på å gjøre Oslo Runway til det vi har savnet så lenge: En ny, profesjonell arena for norske designere.

Oslo Runway presented a preview of a new fashion week with a catwalk show on Tuesday 17th of March at DogA in Oslo. The three Norwegian designer brands Epilogue by Eva Emanuelsen, Johnny Love and Veronica B. Vallenes showed their fall and winter collections for 2015/2016 (AW 15/16). Oslo Runway is a new concept developed by the PR agency This Is PR, L'Oréal Paris and the Norwegian Fashion Institute (NFI). The industrial look at the art and achitecture center DogA brings out the details and tightness of the clothes. The three designers displayed a perfect intersection of 'business and pleasure' - clothes suitable for work, leisure and vacation. It was lovely to finally see a tailored menswear collection with both suits and casual clothes. Good light on the catwalk, no press wall with celebrities and curious, interested spectators help to make Oslo Runway what we've missed for so long: A new, professional arena for Norwegian designers.
