This is a short snippet from my article for Oslo Fashion Week:
“The mysterious ambience from the old Egyptian era is reflected in the MATCH and VIC collection for SS 2013. A tight, pink «catsuit» made the audience snap for air in Posthallen on Tuesday 14th of August.
«Rising from the Ashes» is a wide collection with historical inspiration and modern twists. The mix between different shades of pink combined with golden accessories in Egyptian shapes, is just why Match is so well off with their new chief designer, Frank Remme.
- What I tried to do with this fashion show, was to show that commercial fashion doesn´t have to be dull. It can be very exciting. I want to provoke, but I´m very concerned that things ought to be beautiful, Remme says to Oslo Fashion Week.”
