“Wow” is all a woman can think when she sees a pair of Hopstocks. They demand your uttermost level of attention and affection. Meet the creator: The London-educated Norwegian designer, who graduated from the prestigious Cordwainers College - just like the legendary designers Jimmy Choo, Charlotte Olympia and Nicholas Kirkwood.
The fashion store MagMaLou at Frogner in Oslo welcomed the shoewonderwoman´s treasures in their store this fall.
Hollywood and pinup´s
- What is your main inspiration?
- The read thread in all collections is the old-fashioned Hollywood glamour that I try to give a modern twist. There´s always a vintage inspiration. Pinup-ladies and Dita von Teese are always on the poster, the imaginative designer says.
- How would you describe the woman who buys your shoes?
- She has a certain preferance to stand out. She likes to make an exciting first impression, and she likes that people notice her personal style. She has a strong opinion about what she likes and who she is. She is strong and loves to have fun!
