Copenhagen Fashion Week: Supersonic SS 2013

The silhouettes and colors were either classic and neutral or futuristic and supersonic. The designers displayed their SS 2013 collections at Copenhagen Fashion Week from the 8th to 12th of August. Anne Sofie Madsen used shapes of bones and skeletons. She mixed them with painted prints and colored fringes. The Norwegian designer Helje Hamre kept the expression simple, but with high quality fabrics and tailoring.

New Norwegian talents
Hanna Heedman and Mari Vaagan were among the Norwegian graduates from Oslo National Academy Of The Arts to show their inspiring work at the Copenhagen catwalk. They both have unique textures and colors, and their collections have great variety. They were a part of the “Designer´s Nest” show, an award to reward promising and skilled designer students - with HRH Crown Princess Mary as patron. See more of their work here.

Hippie cool
Henrik Vibskov and Day Birger et Mikkelsen both had a hint of hippie-style and colorful Jamaican prints. The dip-dye effects are still key. By Malene Birger showed a symphony of bright colors, with interesting prints and statement necklaces.
