The Body Shop lanserer en helt ny trendsminke med supermodell Lily Cole som ambassadør. «Cruelty Free»-serien kommer i begrenset opplag. Det viktigste budskapet er at sminken ikke er testet på dyr. Kosmetikk- og hudpleiegiganten støtter et internasjonalt dyreinitiativ og trenger nettopp din underskrift til å bekjempe testingen av sminke på dyr. I forbindelse med lanseringen inviterte The Body Shop til en eksklusiv shoppingkveld i samarbeid med Costume onsdag 6. juni i Torggata 2 i Oslo. Tore Petterson, offisiell makeup-artist for The Body Shop i Norge, demonstrerte sminke på den fargerike designeren Fam Irvoll. Skjønnhetsredaktør i Costume, Hélène Andersen, fortalte om sommerens store makeuptrend, den naturlige looken. Live Kleveland, informasjonsansvarlig i Dyrevernalliansen holdt en engasjerende tale om grusomme tester dyr blir utsatt for.

- Fra 2013 skulle det egentlig bli forbudt med dyretesting i EU-landene, men sterke krefter jobber i mot. Derfor trenger dyrene hjelp fra deg som forbruker for at forbudet skal vedtas, fortalte Kleveland.
Fam Irvoll er pelsmotstander og er generelt opptatt av dyrevern. Hun er derfor med på å fronte «Cruelty Free»-serien og The Body Shop.
- Nå lever i alle fall jeg med godt samvittighet. Jeg har kastet ut alt som ikke bør høre hjemme i skapet, og jeg har aldri eid pels. Klær og kosmetikk - alt jeg har nå er på ja-listen. Jeg synes det er positivt at det er en del unge folk her. Det er viktig å ta dem før de går i musefella, sier Fam og oppfordrer alle til å skrive under her.

The Body Shop launches a whole new trend makeup line with the super model Lily Cole as an ambassador. The «Cruelty Free» line is a limited edition. The most important message is that the products are not tested on animals. The makeup and skin care brand is supporting a global animal initiative and needs your signature to press throught an anti-testing ban. Associated with the makeup launch, The Body Shop invited to an exclusive shopping night in collaboration with Costume on Wednesday 6th of June in Torggata 2 in Oslo. Tore Petterson, official makeup artist for The Body Shop in Norway, demonstrated makeup at the colorful Norwegian designer Fam Irvoll. The beauty editor in Costume, Hélène Andersen, told about this summer´s major trend, the natural look. Live Kleveland, communication manager in the Animal Protection Association, made an engaging speech about the horrible tests the animals are suffering from.

- From 2013, a legally binding ban was to be enforced in the United Nations, but strong forces are working against it. Therefore, the animals needs help from you as a costumer to make this testing forbidden, Kleveland said.
Fam Irvoll is against fur and is concerned with animal protection. She is therefore fronting the «Cruelty Free» series and the Body Shop.
- Now I´m living with a good conscience. I´ve thrown out everything that doesn´t belong in the closet, and I´ve never owned fur. Clothes and cosmetics - everything I have now is on the yes-list. I think it´s positive that there´s many young people here. It´s important to catch them before they run into the mouse trap, says Fam and urges you to sign under here.
