The scent of summer

Some time pass by between my posts this summer - I hope you forgive me! I'm currently scanning tons of old family photos, in addition to meeting friends and family. Here's some photos I'd almost forgot that my husband took during the start of June when the lilacs flourished as most. Some of the very best things with the summer, I think, is that Rodeløkka allotment gardens are open for the public. I try to walk through the gardens as often as I can, to fill my sould with inner piece and breathe in the intoxicating scent of the most beautiful flowers on earth.

Here, I've composed an outfit with a mix of vintage, chains store bargains and new shoes. All with a value in total of 1500 NOK.

Silk dress from a flea market (costing 5 NOK), handbag from Gina Tricot (249 NOK), necklace from Zara and shoes from Clarks bought at Shoe Lounge.

I've been given so many compliments for this handbag. Everybody thinks it's Chanel... I have it in blue velvet too.

The Rodeløkka allotment gardens - a peaceful place.

It's very challenging to find lovely shoes for my elephant feet. I discovered the shoe brand Clarks when I went to Shoe Lounge at Majorstuen. This leather pair is in size 42 and they are SO comfy!

I bought this necklace years ago at Zara - and I even wore it at our wedding. It's become my favourite necklace.

KORRES COLOUR makeup: Natural shades

KORRES is a Greek skin care brand under VITA's wings. I continue to be more and more impressed by their natural products. I'm an extremely big fan of the sunscreens, lipglosses and perfumes from KORRES. Now, I've tested an eyeliner, foundation, lipstick and concealer from the new KORRES COLOUR makeup collection. The products are 'green' and treat our environment and skin very well. The products consist of vegetable oils, herbal extracts, vitamins and natural emulsifiers. Synthetic ingredients are replaced with natural components that give the skin moisture and nourishment.

I'll test the extreme length mascara the next time I have a break between my lash extension refills. My skin breathes surprisingly well with the KORRES foundation, and the concealer covers blemishes and imperfections really good too. The lipstick gives moisture and a matte, fine finish. VITA.no has a wide selection of the KORRES-products and they have free shipping until the 15th of July!

The KORRES makeup selection at VITA.no: KORRES makeup

I love this natural lipstick in the colour warm beige.

I use the KORRES Wild Rose foundation with the colour code RF1 with SPF 15.

Wearing the KORRES makeup! NO photo editing. Look how even the skin looks like! I have a lot of imperfections and red spots, but they're not visible at all.

I use the KORRES Wild Rose concealer with colour code WRC2.

Oslo Pride 2017: Colorful freedom

Over 40 000 mennesker gikk i Oslo Pride-paraden.

This weekend became a colorful party and constitution day with amazing vibes! Over 40 000 people walked in the Oslo Pride Parade. My friend Tine and I joined, of course! The day vibrated with sun, joy and love, and I've never before felt an atmosphere like that. I photographed a little bit with my little digital camera and mobile phone, so you can get a small taste of the experience we had. We're so lucky to be born into this era and on this side of the earth. Here, we can be free and proud of whom we are!
